Adhesive tape is also known as Pressure sensitive tape and Self stick tape.It sticks with application pressure without need for solvent,heat or water for activation.It is used in home,office,industry and institution for a wide variety of purposes.Single-sided tapes allow bonding to a surface or joining of two adjacent or overlapping materials. Double-sided tape (adhesive on both sides) allows joining of two items back-to-back.Adhesive tape was invented in 1926 by Richard Drew of 3M.
