Mario Baldazzi established Stilalbum s.R.L. In 1973 in order to be able to fully express his creativity.
He had worked for many years in a photo album company as a sales manager but a position as an employee was not suitable for Mario's creativity. He decided then to start working on his own and established Stilalbum in Funo, a small town near Bologna. Supported by his wife Rina, he created the first original collections which he called "gioielli" ("jewels") and was able to implement cutting edge materials such as metal, crystal, two-color and embossed leather, tortoiseshell plexiglas, paying attention to every detail with masterly skill.
